Load capacity options available in the Repon product line are varied according to the customers’ applications and requirements. The range of weight/load options run from 50 lbs ( 22.5kgs ) up to 400 lbs ( 180 kgs ). The specific load rating indicated for any individual drawer slide model typically refers to dynamic loading, which usually means that the weight- bearing capacity of the product is established relative to drawer cycles ( open and close ) up to 50,000 cycles. The physical, measured dimensions of the drawer box used to establish load capacity is usually 16” wide x 18” deep. The length of the drawer slide itself --longer or shorter than 18” ( 450mm )—also help determine overall load capacity.
Repon recommends the use of part numbers/products: NJ24009, NJ8000, NJ81A, NJ7D, NJ7J, NJ7Q, NJ7K, NJ7A and NJ76J for all drawers wider than 20”. ( For applications which require side-pull, the minimum load weights indicated in Repon’s catalog do not apply.).
